Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you send us through this website. Last updated: September 2026.

What we collect

Only what you type into the quote form: your name, email address, and optionally the event date, the city or venue and the message you write. We do not ask for and do not need any other personal data.

Who is responsible

We have not appointed a data protection officer, which the GDPR does not require for an operation of this size.

We do not use your details for newsletters, we do not sell them, and we do not share them with third parties for marketing. There is no automated decision making and no profiling that produces legal effects for you.

Who receives it

Only the people and companies that need it to answer you:

• Netlify (USA), hosting of this website and processing of form submissions, acting as our processor.
• Google (USA), our email, where your enquiry arrives and is answered.
• Microsoft (USA), analytics, and Meta (USA), advertising measurement, only if you allow those purposes in the cookie notice.
• Our accountant, for documents relating to a booking that went ahead.

Transfers outside the EU

The providers above are established in the United States and may process data there. We rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses in the data processing agreements with them, and, where the provider is certified, additionally on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. The adequacy decision behind that framework is under appeal before the Court of Justice, so we do not rely on it alone. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply to a specific transfer.

How long we keep it

For as long as the enquiry is active, and after that for up to 24 months, so we can refer back to previous quotes. If a booking goes ahead, the related documents are kept for the period required by Slovenian accounting law. Ask us and we will delete your enquiry earlier.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to its use. Write to info@funterra.eu and we will respond within 30 days. You can also withdraw a consent you gave, without affecting what was done before, and you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Slovenian supervisory authority: Informacijski pooblaščenec, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, gp.ip@ip-rs.si.

Analytics and tracking

This website runs no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers. It uses one analytics service, Microsoft Clarity, and only if you accept it in the cookie notice: it then records page views, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, sets its own cookies and collects your IP address, browser, device and approximate location. Decline and nothing of it is loaded. You can change your answer at any time through "Cookie settings" in the footer. See the cookies page for the details.

Is it required

Giving us your name and email is not a legal requirement, but without them we cannot answer your enquiry. Every other field on the form is optional.

Changes

If we change this policy, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects what you consented to, the cookie notice appears again and asks you afresh.
